Former Systems Engineer (tech geek) who decided there is more to life than just working seventy hour weeks.

Started one non-profit that supports families, children’s issues, and the community. Joined a friend and Master Composter, Beth, to start another non-profit to help schools and other youth groups learn and incorporate sustainable living into their programs.

*February 2011 update* Regrettably, the two non-profits are not combined – due to major life changes, I am only able to continue with one 501c3, CWF.

*August 2010 Update* The two nonprofits are now combined, and we are in the process of transitioning from a foundation into a public charity. In the meantime, join us on Facebook, Nourish with Nature.

Loves organic/sustainable living improvements who became a Habitat Steward by NWF (National Wildlife Federation). And is still a technical geek who loves to analyze underlying principles and structures!

My blogs and Tweets will be about two main topics:
• Sustainable living – green products, eco-friendly technology, organic gardening, reducing our carbon footprint, green schools, teaching environmental consciousness to our kids, etc; and
• Non-profits – grants, fundraising, resources, tips, events, etc.

And of course, the occasional random topic, like life, hockey, local news (San Diego County), cars, dogs, and technology, among others!
